The Home + Garden Show starts at noon on Thursday and goes through the weekend. “Extreme Makeover” star Ty Pennington will be on-site along with celebrity Frank Fritz from the History Channel’s “American Pickers.”
A butterfly garden, a wine village and an all Iowa store are among the highlights of this year’s show with the Susan G. Komen Foundation staging a “Pink Ribbon Room Challenge” to spread awareness in the fight against breast cancer.
Interior designer Hal Davis of HGTV’s West End Salvage will also answer questions about enhancing living spaces and adding a designer feel to the home.
