This basement remodel was part of a much larger whole home remodel which included a very large master bathroom and kitchen renovation. The goal of this basement remodel was to expand the basement to have a compliant bedroom and bathroom space for the couples teenage son. By adding a wall into the existing exercise room and partitioning off part of an unfinished storage area we were able to do just that. An egress window makes the space lighter and safe while the Kohler Accord shower system makes the bathroom easy to clean. All together, this basement now provides some privacy while mom doesn’t have to worry about safety.
