Stone and Cherry Home Retreat

Kitchen Remodel: wood cabinets, black countertops, and butcherblock island.

This master bathroom remodel was part of a larger whole home renovation. Earlier phases included the mudroom, powder room, and kitchen remodel. As the project continued, the focus shifted to creating a master suite that felt both functional and relaxing.

To improve the layout, we removed the small soaking tub and repositioned one vanity. As a result, we created a larger walk-in shower and added a dedicated dressing table. These changes gave the homeowner a more comfortable and practical space.

A Master Bath Designed for Comfort and Function

The new layout made this master bath feel more open and useful. Every update supported a better daily routine while also improving the overall style of the home.

Key features include:

  • Larger master shower for a more spacious feel
  • Dressing table for added comfort and convenience
  • Custom backsplashes for texture and detail
  • Granite countertops for durability and elegance
  • Cherry cabinets for warmth and timeless appeal

Together, these finishes created a bathroom that feels polished, calm, and inviting.

Part of a Cohesive Whole House Remodel

This project was more than a bathroom update. It was part of a whole house remodel designed to improve flow, function, and style throughout the home.

The renovation began with a kitchen remodel, along with the mudroom and powder room. By removing walls, we opened the living space and created a better connection to the kitchen. That same thoughtful approach continued into the master bathroom.

Because the design stayed consistent, the finished master suite complements the rest of the home beautifully.

Kitchen and Bath Renovation With Lasting Style

The kitchen played a major role in this home renovation. It was designed as a gourmet space for cooking, gathering, and entertaining.

Kitchen highlights include:

  • Custom cherry cabinets
  • Black granite countertops
  • Open floor plan
  • Better flow for entertaining
  • Glass mosaic backsplash
