Warm hardwood flooring runs throughout the first floor. Because of this, each space feels more connected. The living room includes a tiled fireplace, a rustic wood mantel, and large windows that bring in natural light. A ceiling fan adds comfort and completes the room.
The first floor also includes a dedicated home office. It features recessed lighting, a spacious wood desk, and clear views into the kitchen. Nearby, the powder room adds personality with deep navy textured wallpaper, a pendant light, an ornate framed mirror, and a pedestal sink.
A classic wood and white staircase adds architectural interest to the hallway. In addition, repeated details in the range hood, island, and fireplace create a cohesive look. As a result, the entire first floor feels larger, brighter, and more inviting.
Best of all, the team achieved this transformation without an addition. That choice helped reduce the budget while still updating the entire main level. The design team also used 3D renderings during planning. This made it easier for the homeowners to picture the final result and make confident choices.
Second Floor Remodel: Luxury Primary Bath and Better Bedroom Layout
After the first-floor remodel, the homeowners asked the team to update the second floor. This phase focused on the bedrooms, bathrooms, and overall layout.
The new second-floor plan creates better use of space. A central staircase connects the rooms and improves flow. The primary bedroom feels warm and welcoming. It features hardwood flooring, a textured ceiling, and a ceiling fan with built-in lighting.
The primary bathroom is the highlight of the second floor. Large-format tile flooring gives the room a clean, upscale look. A freestanding soaking tub adds a spa-like feel. The glass-enclosed walk-in shower includes a white subway tile surround and a rainfall showerhead. A navy blue double vanity with a white countertop adds both style and storage.
A crystal flush-mount light fixture gives the bathroom an elegant finish. Plantation shutters bring in natural light while still offering privacy. Together, these details create a luxury bath that feels bright, calm, and refined.
The additional bedrooms are simple, comfortable, and flexible. They feature carpet, neutral walls, ceiling fans, and windows with blinds. One room has a cool gray tone, while another uses a lighter neutral palette. An extra room offers space for a bedroom, guest room, or office.
By redesigning the second-floor layout, the team made the primary bathroom much larger. At the same time, they kept the hall bathroom functional. The result is a second floor that feels both practical and elevated.
